i dare say they'd come into their own if you were trying to heel hook a 5mm ironstone edge on a hideous overhanging blueys edge-fest in the upper grades....
(can't say that i've ever been in that position, this is pure hypothesizing...)

Well the best solution would be to buy these bad boys and test out their heel hooking capabilities.... that's just my opinion.

As expendable trad shoes, the grooved heel-cup looks like it would be OK for minor walk off descents, and may provide a little more traction on those kind of tracks.

Yeah they are a mens size 7 AUS.

US size 8
UK size 7

Yeah I made a slight error in the ordering/converting process, im normally a size 9 so clearly they were a tad "tight". Im 5'10.
