I have some brand new size 11 climbing shoes. They have been sitting in my cupboard for over a year now. I have worn them twice bouldering at burnley never on rock. If you live/work anywhere around the inner city you can have a look. Or you could just meet me bouldering at Burnley on the weekend.

$75 or there abouts for beer money would be good!

Edit:

They are Saltic Eso a model from a couple years ago. They retailed for around $180 a bit more than the Saltic Spirit that I use as my standard climbing shoe now. I just prefer my Spirit pair.

Being a complete newbie to climbing.... are certain shoes better for different application? If so, what would these be ideal for?

Yes. My size 9 Aces would be ideal for you. you need tight shoes. Wolfgang Gullich climbed probally the worlds first 33 (wall street) in this model of shoe. $200 ono
