I have just spent the morning sport climbing. Has any one freed or even Aided the start of Focal Point at Mount Vic lately? i attempted both these things with no success, which brought some frustration as the rest of the line bar the last pitch looks stunning and clean. Im all for a good grovel...but the tree ferns had swallowed the entire crack and nothing seemed to go on the face. what to do? My answer involves a misty day and alot of petrol and an ice tool but i would probably rather rap in and start above. I am curious to know about the degree of vegetation in times gone by.... |
