Sir Chris Bonington is doing a couple of slide shows next week in Sydney and Katoomba.

Katoomba is on Friday 30th January at Gearins Hotel Katoomba at 7.30pm. Tickets via Summit Gear

At the risk of being abused and being written off as a climber of any sort of worth, I must ask who is Sir Chris Bonington and what has he done on grit?

Well it looks like grit to me. All it says in the book is "Jacket photo by Anthony Greenbank". Maybe I should post it in name the climb post? To find out what Sir Christian has done have a look at any of his books (too numerous to mention here)
