Hi Chockstoners,

The following post is not climbing related, although those involved are all climbers. I am hoping for some leniency as it is a charity event.

The Oxfam/Community Aid Abroad trailwalker is an endurance event where teams of 4 attempt to walk 100 km in 48 hours. A team consisting of Myself, Tim Billington, Sven Howorth and Nicole Benedek, the RMIT Redbacks, are hoping to make the distance.

Hiya...

I'm in team "Are We There Yet?" (team number 359).

We're in serious training. We had our first night training session on Friday... (yep, Friday the 13th) and I'm not sure I've ever laughed so much at silly nothings, nor stumbled my way down a steep hill so badly... but what a laugh!

Those who no me well, know my hatred for walking... and therefore may be wondering WHY? the answer... I'm NUTS, and I'm up for a pretty exciting challenge!
