That looks cumbersome and waaay to bouncy!!!

I propose a different kind of training.. 'unintentional-outdoor-lead-practice' at hardrock city!
It's the closest thing I've found indoors to leading outdoors, you don't know where the route goes, the holds are slimy and you don't know if the hold is going to be stable or not! Love it or hate it, it makes you climb softly when you're on lead!!

Video of an old idea done poorly. I think it was Entre-Prise that made a motorized wall called the 'Rock and Roll' which was a great training tool to use at the end of a session.

You could crank it over to 40+ Degrees. Climb to failure, immediately crank it 10 degrees less, repeat till just 10 degrees over to failure...

I can't find any details of this product online (I used it regularly at City Rock in San Fran a long time ago).

It ainít so unusual. Iíve seen the Treadwall advertised in US climbing magazines for years: http://www.motionkids.com/treadwall.htm

Theyíre apparently only $US10,000 Ö

The Treadwall isn't motorised and doesn't go steep enough...
