According to 8a.nu Garth Miller has flashed the Inertia Reel Traverse V12 at the Roaches (Eastern Grit) - And thought it soft!

Possibly the hardest flash on Grit ever. Awesome stuff!

I hate to get technical on this point, but the Roaches are in Staffordshire which is Western Grit, not Eastern. They talk funny over that side too!

Unbelievably impressive given it's over 20 years old and probably still hasn't seen more than 10 repeats - in a country not exactly breeding weak climbers. Just part of it (two-thirds) can be seen in this pic:
