You remind me of my Gym days there Josh, we had a workout called gut busters, similar to your dish shaped exercise but modified/longer. We started by holding the dish shape for 30 seconds, then rocking back and forth for 30 seconds (as Josh described), then holding the dish and bouncing up and down bending at the hips for 30 seconds, then doing vsnaps for 30 seconds, then rolling onto stomach and holding superman for 30seconds (opposite body shape of dish) then rolling over back to dish and holding it for 30 seconds. repeat as often (3 times or so) as you like you can do it for less time, or more depending on your abilities. hope it made sense.
