these shoes I was looking at are bloody cheap.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Five-Ten-5-10-Guide-Tennie-Size-9_W0QQitemZ150131995711QQihZ005QQcategoryZ1299QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.
The shipping is shocking but still cheap in the long run, I think it is about $130AU all up.. I am saying this because in Australia the shoes are very expensive.

It might just be that shop.. not sure.
Anyway I was wondering if anybody knew why they are so cheap!
cheers

$185 expensive? you have to be kidding. 5-10 approach shoes used to be $220+ even 5 years ago. i'm
pretty sure they were still that price 10 years ago! i have a pair of the guide tennies and think they are
great. better than the mountain masters and extreems.

i have guide tennies too, they are great for aiding and being comfy on easy stuff like sweet dreams, but they are not that good for walking long distances and they wear out reasonably quickly... i only paid $140 though & that was pushing it, certainly wouldnt pay 220 or whatever for them

Well... they will fall apart, but you won't feel bad about forking out the $20 to get a new pair!

yeh i used volleys every day to guide canyons (back in the day...) and now i wear the supervolleys (steel toe versions, a bit more expensive @ $40) every day for work- they are great but they do fall apart really quickly when you wear them all the time
