Grampians Landscape Management Plan

As announced on the 29th April, Parks Victoria will commence a review process of the Grampians National Park Management Plan in July 2019.

There will be a variety of opportunities to provide feedback over the review process and a Stakeholder Reference Group will soon be set in order to engage key stakeholders from the conservation, tourism and recreation sectors.

They seem to have a very compressed timeframe. Draft plan to be completed June 2020 and final plan to be finalised late 2020. Last time five years elapsed between the draft in 1998 and the plan in 2003.

And it probably had a similar short planned time frame which blew out a bit...

And there was a change of state government in 1999 which may have changed the agenda.

Presumably the Cultural Sector is a main player too, or have they allowed their role to be usurped by ParksVic on their behalf?
