Was out having a lovely day at Black Ian's on Saturday before encountering some angry bees just after the Decree Nisi corner. Vicious beyond belief! Just a heads up.

Did you do Subpoena? There's often a hive just over the ledge on that. A current status update would be good.
Similarly there's frequently an active hive at the base of Jury Box.

When I was there in October 2012 there were bees near the top of Subpoena. I recall either you (Andrew) or Patrick were going to nuke them last year sometime?
Last time I was there (September 2013) the bees had gone from Subpoena and I don't recall seeing any others.

I have nothing to do with bee removal.
There weren't bees in May 2012, though there was a tiny bit of comb on the walls of that crack. I guess they were moving in.
I was last there in April 2013 and there weren't any bees then either.

We didn't get on Subpoena, though walking along the cliff top looking down and from looking from below I couldn't notice any.

Maybe the vicious dog scared the bees away.

Ah ... yep ... Myself, my climbing partner, the puncture wounds and a couple of torn garments may beg to differ, but I could be wrong!!
