This was a " desk top study". It didn't involve anyone going out and looking for panthers.

I definitely saw a huge black cat while perched about 2 pitches up Hot flap a few years ago.
Whether panther or just a giant feral - it made me and my partner wonder how safe the pines is on a quiet night!

I was expecting a few more of these stories. I think people are seeing big feral cats rather than panthers but I'm sure they are seeing something.
