Drove my holden commodore out to Hot Dog Walls ( which is about 10km along black fellas hand road from the wolgan rd) 12 months ago with 3 people in it and it was touch and go, with all this rain lately its probably worse. Although the worse bits were more so clearance issues on sandstone ruts

Hmm yeah ..my old man was saying last night the road was definitely 4wd...i always thought it was meant to be graded...obviously not.

I tried to get through in a jacked up old liberty in december last year - no chance without risk of tearing something important out - made it maby 5 ks from the wolgan side before we pulled the pin.

Given the rain of late, cant imagine things have improved.

if it aint your car it would be a fun trip though!!!

from either end last time i did it was fine however the middle section will not be easy in a standard car. however if you read the street signs it is no longer black fellow hands road it is some aboriginal name now so just be carfull giving new people directions.

its 2wd from the south side. it would only be the last few kms from the Wolgan valley side that would cause a problem for a 2wd.

Yeah that was the side I thought would be the issue...we will be coming from that side through to Sahara point (ie hooking onto sunnyside) and some have a 2wd drive car so guess that option out.
