I am going to throw out the junk at sundeck cave in a fortnight, every time I walk by theres sleeping mats and newspaper strewn through the bush, its only 5min from a car park! Lots of people have made temporary homes in Mt Vic bush but they generally keep it tidy, but this is an embarrasment to climbing, so if you own this stuff, get it soon.

Why wait a fortnight (unless that's just the next time you're there)? The Sundeck Cave is a beautiful place. Let's keep it that way.

I'm surprised there's anything left after the wind, I lost a sleeping bag and mat there once, found the bag about 80m up the hill in the heath, but never saw the foam mat again

Apart from the wind blowing crap around what was the main cause of "mess"? Left rubbish, badly stashed stuff that looks like rubbish?, is it an active day to day site? many people go down there other than climbers? many people use the cave reguarly?
