Good effort for the climber & photographer, as a viewer though I would like to see
either more of the climbers expression, or more of the rock/ cliff structure included in a
scenery style photo. Thanks for the entry.

I tend to agree with bagotup's comments (above) and if the belayer had've been included it would also have rated more highly for me, along with maybe more drama in clipping the high runner instead of a static position after doing so.

It is certainly great rock architecture and jdb's position on it is inspiring*.

Obviously unplanned, but the climbers clothing colour tends to make for a chameleon act too when combined with the rock colour...


(*It also kind of negates the sentiments expressed in this thread!)

This is by far the most frightening route I have ever climbed...
I'd half done my back and was struggling with cramp earlier in the day...
at one point I almost cried and actually believed the entire route was going to fall down on me such was the rock quality...
it didn't and every suspect thing I grabbed was rock solid....
nice pic...sorry about the story...
