Now here is a photo that has strong visual balance from a great angle, without photo-shopping (like last gallery pic), the natural eye-drawing-lines, out to the corners to obtain it!

Interesting to see reflections of clouds in the water below, as sky-scape (imo), generally adds heaps to the visual component of good quality photos, and this was an unusual way to achieve it.

I would've given more stars if I could see the belayer for 'completeness of story' that the photo portrays.

Thanks for the link. After viewing them, I highly recommend checking out the other pics (linked above), at Simon's Flickr; as there are some excellent shots there.

Nice Shot Simo! Would be sic to have an off flash pointing at George to add a bit of drama ;-)
Gotta critique the photo though, my eyes are drawn to the quickdraws on the right for some reason.
@IdratherbeclimbingM9, I don't have "Photo-shoppe" or Photoshop ;-)

I'm impressed that Simmo managed to make Cheesedale look this good. Gorgeous George, on the other hand, actually looks this good in real life :)

Gorgeous George, on the other hand, would actually look better with a silly ODH hat on when coming up into sunlight like that :)
Half a star for doing it despite the nowra style fashion sense anyway.

Disappointing to see that Stugang deleted his humorous comment, made sometime between 9-14/07/14, re the pic.
Something along the lines of;
"The creek and greenery are quite pretty, but the climber on the turd of rock makes me want to wash my hands.
Five stars. Captures Nowra perfectly."

~> He is having a nostalgia moment? Manning up to his real feelings about Nowra?

(In context of a subsequent thread that was partially inspired by his comment here amongst other's Nowra comments...
~> See Bagging Nowra thread).
