Comments:	i'm an english snowboarder who has recently returned from gulmarg, kashmir. shaun was a character who i bumped into a number of times in the last couple of weeks out there. i shared a gondola ride with him one day, chatted to him in a restaraunt in the capital city srinagar on another occasion and am totally shocked about his death in the avalanche. in the short time i chatted to him he had some amazing stories to tell of photographic assignments in afghanistan and kosovo. from reading the tributes on the web i can tell he is a guy who will be sorely missed. i just wanted to post a few words and let you know that he died in one of the most beautiful places on earth, skiing some of the most extreme and exciting terrain out there. rest in peace shaun.
