Jarmila Tyrril heads for Antarctica
One of Australia´s best female rockclimbers, Jarmila Tyrril, is currently en route to the Sentinel Range, Antarctica to attempt new routes on two of Antarctica´s highest and hardest peaks. Jarmila joins an experienced team to attempt both Mt Tyree (Antarctica´s 2nd highest) and Mt Epperly (10th highest) during the Nov-Jan summer season.

Tyree has only had 7 ascents, none since 1997. Only one person has ever climbed Epperly. 1090 have climbed Vinson! If time allows, Jarmila will also attempt Vinson, Antarctica´s highest mountain, with a possible ski descent.
