Hmm. Your profile indicates the following...

Your post looks typically suspicious but welcome to Chockstone ErinS anyway?
To make your interaction with this site more enjoyable, I suggest that you log in for longer than 2 min 15 secs next time to differentiate yourself from the plethora of newbies we seem to be experiencing at this time, along with choosing a time when more of us are online, otherwise we might surely think that you are just another newbie...

Same text posted across the same cluster of forums like the other previous new members... Erin needs to post again shortly or will be disabled like the rest.

Can anyone explain the rash of 'Newbie' first time posters recently?

My website/forums have had an increase of this sort of activity over the last few days, 5 so far today. I have a manual validating system accessed from the Admin CP.
Some are obviously spambots, usually their IP's are .ru, another useful tool if there is a ? is http://www.stopforumspam.com/search

I entered the Username ErinS there and got 150 variants, but not that specific one.
On a similar subject...
~> I wanted to add a junkmail name / email addy to that location & it isn't such an easy thing to do as you need an API key, and when you go to get one by signing up, you get the following message!
Sorry - Due to abuse by certain people, we are currently limiting API signups to members of the forum. We are sorry that we have had to take this course of action.
Please sign up to the forum first.
I also noted when checking the 'most recent 200' list, plus older IP addies the overwhelming number of chinese and american spammer flags! ... but not one Aussie flag!!!
~> Either we aussies don't spam, or more likely, don't report it to that site.
