ChuckNorris 8-Mar-2017 4:03:46 PM	does anyone know whether those dehumidifier packs like "thirst hippo" : - damage gear (can't see why but asking just in case) - Actually work in stopping gear rot or corrode in humid climates? Cheers Stu
Andrew_M 9-Mar-2017 3:59:39 PM	They're good - I had a tub of gear turn into a fungus forest and had to throw half of it out. After starting using them there's been no probs. You can get ones with a membrane over the top so that they shouldn't leak, but even if they do it's just calcium chloride so shouldn't do any damage.
