Did anyone lose a rope, possibly left on the roof of their car driving down from the summit of Arapiles in the last week?

Yeah. That's mine. It fell off the back of my bike. I'll pop over and get it

No worries. It is one of those Beal Snappers. The core is shot one end and there are are nicks in the middle and it's glazed from some sort of friction burn too. Just tell me the colour and it's yours.

... and it was lying in an oil stain and some crows were picking at it.

Yeah that's the one. I left it behind, as it was smelling so bad after gnagutS flossed his butt crack with it

Simey, the colour is brown.

Will you post it to me?

Thank U edweirdo for giving my name the respect it deserves by spelling it with a capital tail S.

In the interest of public safety I figured that this was the same treatment that rope was only still good for, after catching your overlard multiple dogging falls up that new grade 6 climb you envisaged and dreampt about being in simey's guide for years.
A rope is only rated for so many (actually fewer), falls after all.
I only agreed to belay U on it as nobody else that U asked would help U out for guidebook glory by stooping so low with that climb, and as I hadn't had a good laff (near kakked meself is why I needed to floss), for a while, I thx U 4 the memries.
Nxt time Ur people approach mine I will get mine to avoid them, just like peeps should do with that (now past its rated falls), rope.

I think U should reconsider whot U were going to name that route again 2, because that is probably the main reason simey doesn't publish them in order to keep his own rep intact.

A real shame you couldn't get up it on second though.

The rope should still be good tough, as it was in your rope log.

Keep on believing that, as there is no way I wanted my name associated with Ur new route on the super unlikely chance simey ever considers publishing it.

Well done on working out the likely owner ed. Collect urself a gold star sticker on the way out.

Bomber, your magic rope is ready to collect any time U want it back as ed has finished it now.
