That's a pretty negative attitude Dalai. Fourteen bucks and a fun mechanical problem to solve is my idea of a cheap and fun evening in...........with extra bonus entertainment to be had by heckling ze chermans. I used the hat a few times, and my climbing partners all had the same reaction; initial reluctance to even touch the thing, giving way to kinda liking it. The main drawback is that the cheapo perspex mirror was instantly covered in scratches, but I didn't have access to glass cutting technology. Also, the fact that there were about 6 different depths of field all stacked together in front of your eyes made things a bit weird for the brain unless you really concentrated on the central bit (this happens with the prism glasses a bit too, but it's cleaner and less pronounced).

Well, it actually seems to belong to Rocksin, but if he really doesn't want the thing back it's all yours.

Hi ODH,
Actually, it's not mine. I checked and mine is still in the garage. I just like guessing games (especially if I win). If the original owner doesn't 'fess up, let Siamese have it, but then he has climb with two at all times
