Interesting. The benefits of single axle in the small sizes and the double axle in the larger sizes. Would be curious to hear what camming angle they use.

I have an old one of these, probably the yellow, single axle. Found at Seneca 5 years ago; Americans don't spend more than 30 seconds trying to remove a cam. Works well.

I'm drooling! Could have done with a few of the small ones yesterday.

Yeah I've been curious about these for a while. There have been hundreds of designs for single axle cams yet BD made these look just like master cams! (I suppose dragons look pretty close to C4s too)
The best thing about master cams in the small sizes is their smaller cam angle to get a solid grip. Not sure about these, I'd like to know cam angle too.

Quite incredible! Proof that time travel does exist!
Sorry Mike but these aren't even on the market yet. :-) And while pre-release testing occurs, I don't think these have been hidden away for 5 years!

The entire set are actually twin axel its just the smallest three use a stacked axle. don't have the range specs yet but they are pretty unique.

Do you mean the yellow version of the old style micro camalots? I can't find a decent picture, but I know one person that still climbs with both the red and yellow of these:

Wow, the axle must look like a crankshaft, sounds like a lot of trouble to go to for an extra mil of range. I was wondering how the hell they'd thread the inner lobes onto the crankshaft, but I reckon I might have worked it out :)

Looks good, will love to see these hands on when they are finally available in Oz.
I wonder how small they go in comparison to the single axle C3 000.

Do you reckon it's like this?

doesn't look as secure as a twin axel will be interesting to read the tech specs on the holding power of these units?

Fark! I had this rather complicated idea which would be really fiddly to assemble. Your drawing is 500000000000 times more likely to be how they did it (except that the lobes need to point the other way)

the bits that the guy in the promo is bandying around in the video shows pretty clearly that nick's drawing is on the money...

Yeah that drawing is basically it for the three smallest sizes. They are very flexible as well (ie the loop can be folded onto the head) in all directions.

What I'm more interested in is what's happening between BD & Five-Ten? The guy showing off the X4 in that vid is wearing one of those rubber wristbands, with the branding showing both 5-10 and BD...
Have they got something in the works?
