that pump is a copy of the design that Alpacka use with their packrafts - basically a big dry bag with a nozzle.

+1 to the 4wd mat. considering space being an issue, i use two single mats so that they can be stored more easily in my car/house. also this means that i can sleep one on top of the other (when i leave the gf at home) for double the comfort.
i use anaconda's home brand dune 4wd mats (as i work there) but basically all mats would be the same from rays/aussie disposals etc. they're all made in the same place anyhow....Consider 80 bucks your max price (only ever sell them on sale really.)
anyone tried black wolf mats? they seem oh so nice when ive tried them out, but i cant justify the cost considering they're about the same size as 4wd mats, only marginally more comfortable, and about triple the price.....i reckon they must be heaps better at insulation but thats just a guess....anyone use them?

I have a fairly simple sleeping mat with me and have no issue with it as well. I have a smaller one that could just fit me and has a good extra layer of protection in case there are insects right in tow.
There are others who fancy using something like an air bed but I have never really had a soft spot for it and most of the time just end up using it laying flat on the floor without any significant amount of air in it.

I have 3 Oztrail mats (4wd). Just fit side by side in 3 man tent. Good for kids and old man like me. Wife with hips still wants motel room. Grounds for divorce I say.
They are warm and can actually get too hot in summer if in direct contact. No in built pillow. Pretty cheap too and come with repair patches.
Edit - the mattresses not the wife

& not the fact that a mat effectively divorces you from the ground! Heh, heh, heh.
