Just bought a Bosch 36v cordless compact rotary hammer instead. 2.9 kg. $719 from Sydney tools. A few guys have them down here and reckon they are best drill they've ever used.

Just make sure you read the fine print with ya warranty, and fill it out online or its seems bosch will screw ya if it breaks down

We have one of these Miller Falls drills and its been really good so far. Maybe Neil's was just a dud.
