and those belay glasses? I climbed with a guy who had them recently and they give me a headache. don't know why, but the amount of suffereing from looking through them for 5 minutes exceeded years worth of just belaying and looking up regularly. It's really not that bad.

Just saw another manufacturer of the prism style belay glasses. They're a fair bit cheaper than the Euro model too... And luckily for heathens everywhere they're from SLC, so they're pre-blessed and ready to climb, or read the good book from a lower angle;)

This product can be quickly reconfigured from 'belay' mode to 'bolt chopping mode' where it looks down rather than up. Perfect for keeping an eye out for any interfering spurt climbers lurking around the base hiding under rocks and such.
