G'day,
I can't remember your name, but my girlfriend and I were climbing Hell for leather and you guys were in a team of 4 doing the grade 8 heading towards the top of Muldoon…. Our routes started very close together.

My beloved partner, bless her cotton socks, has been so well trained at removing gear it seems she accidentally removed a piece of yours as she seconded me up ; ) …. I didn't notice until i went through my gear Sunday.

Anyways it's a number 9 or 10 wire (RED) and a DMM gate from memory.

PM me your details. We were talking about a cliff you had to retreat from a climb for 2 weeks due to rain. Remind me what cliff etc and the wire and gate is yours : )

Kind Regards,
Chris.

Nope, pretty sure what you have to do is go and place it on a route at some obscure crag, wait a day and then go back to re-discover it as bona fide booty.

Given that it's Araps, which eats wires, you could probably fling it randomly onto one of the Bluffs, then keep ticking until you re-find it.
