Thread bump for hypothesis ratification...

How did the non-plonk, ... and also the latter non-coffee experiments turn out mikl?

If they died a quiet death, how long did you writhe in pain before succumbing?
... And if so, was the return noticably negative for effect or a new 'balance' found?

As a fellow dry-julyer I say well done! The first few days are the hardest and you hardly miss the booze by the time the end of the month comes around.....it was almost a chore to start drinking again :p

I heard arthritis can be helped by giving up coffee and alcohol . I also heard pot helps.
Don't know myself .

My yoga teacher says it is from the reduced acidity (when you give up things like alcohol)

I'm an AEP and also do massage with a special interest in feet and wrists (massage) and I'm up on Sydney's North Shore too. I've treated a few knees by addressing the big toe and ankle. If it's still giving you issues feel free to give me a shout.

It's bollocks ain't it? The body maintains the correct Ph by homeostatis. A yoga teacher friend of mine also tried to tell me the same thing. If you change the Ph of your blood you'd die. IMHO acid/alkali diet is just another fad diet. If you want to read something backed up by a little more science, try the book 'racing weight'.
