Posted on behalf of Hugh Hardwick's son:
Hi I'm Hugh Hardwick's son, Dad is a member of your site and has been an active member of Victoria's climbing community for the past 25yrs. On Monday morning he was rushed to StVincents public hospital with an anurizum to the right hand side of his brain, he went into emergency nuero surgery and is now in a stable condition at intensive care. At the present we are all hoping for him to wake up, and if he does so, have minimal damage. I was hoping that you would place something similar to this on the notice board of your web site to let his friends in the community know. Their support would be much appreciated.
Yours Sincerely, Sebastian Hardwick

I've only climbed with Hugh a few times, but always had a great time. Get well soon, you have my good vibes heading your way. All the best to the Hardwick family, I hope all goes well and Hugh makes a full and speedy recovery. I look forward to my next chance to climb with him.

The last I heard ('bout a week ago) was that Hugh was out of intensive care but was still in a coma. I will be contacting Russ Crow (who has been in regular contact with Hugh's family) sometime later this week and if I hear anything new I'll post it.
