Hello there climbing friends. Had to bail on a climb yesterday in the Cathedrals due to a sudden medical emergency of the allergy variety. It was the first time this person had experienced an allergic reaction, entirely unexpected. We also had managed to forget our first aid kits that day, and I had left my PLB out of my bag at home. Luckily phone reception was decent, and we managed help the ailing person down the track to the ambulance. A reminder to be more careful when packing!
If you find a hex, nut, and some karabiners in the bail configuration while you are climbing there, and are nice enough not to claim it as booty, please let me know, I would love to have it back.
