Early on perhaps, but the monologue at the end seems to be talking about his FA. Unless Nalle also climbed it right afterwards and they didn't mention or show any of that? Upshot is that the end sounds a tad pretentious.

Just rewatched that section and it still sounds to me more like "we the team" than the royal we. He starts that section with a bunch of I did this stuff before he moves into the we stuff. I would've thought he'd start in we mode if he was using the royal we.

"We" is first person - it's just that rather than talking about yourself, you are talking about yourself as part of a team. Rather than pretentious - he's including the whole crew, seeing it as a group achievement - presumably everyone was working the moves and he was just the one that pulled it together; but on the whole Dave Graham saw it as a group effort.
