This is a bit old, but it hasn't been posted here as far as I can tell.

I think this video beautifully demonstrates how much fun trad climbing can be, in a different, more adventurous, 'need a fresh pair of underwear' way relative to sport. (I happily climb both)

Video should embed here:

In case I haven't done the embedding correctly, the URL is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SxH2ILd74c

Cheers for that. Struggling on toprope while I'm recovering strength and mobility after a dislocated shoulder, that makes me want to start scaring the crap out of myself again ;-)

I kind of feel like I'm getting old saying this - but why wouldn't you wear a helmet if you are doing stuff like that? Especially when one guy whacks himself in the forehead with his gear when it rips!

Thanks Drake, I always enjoy watching trad videos, especially with how many sport and boulder videos there are floating around.

Just got round to watching. Thanks for posting, really enjoyed it. I loved the terrified wimper's, screams and swearing while topping out is more one of relief than ego boosting. Don't get enough of that in sport/bouldering vids.

Love this video. It was cool to watch some good trad being done ground up. Far more exciting than watching most other types of climbing.
