Simple but relevant. During a recent climb at the Grampians, I had this weird feeling like pure elation.Told my wife and she thought I was a bit nuts. Is it the feeling of conquest?

Well, I don't post everything I watch if that makes you feel better.

I thought it was relevant because I've never found an adequate answer to the question posed. I often try and end up stumbling along like the guy midway through. Sure it's not all crimping and thumping techno, but sometimes it's nice to think about things, isn't it?

If you want something with actual climbing in it, did you try Abyss? Again, there's some talking about ethics and stuff interspersed in the 45 minutes, but it's very pretty and some of the problems are look quite interesting.

Yeah, because a procession of inane American morons is incredibly thought-provoking.

Because ....it feels good,hard,balancy,sustained,exposed,cruxy,amazing,scary,out there,absorbing
Focused, different to almost anything else, and at the same time where I feel the most centred.

I climb because I become flooded with spiritual and emotional wholeness as I am wrapt in the immense love of God flowing through me as I am part of him.

There's a climb somewhere in Tassie (can't remember where, maybe Ben Lomond) called "I'm no ordinary top bunk c--k pounder because Jesus loves me". Inspired.

I like the chick who says "the rock doesn't care if you're tall or short". Hahahahaha, idiot! Clearly she's never tried Mirage.
