Hey dalai, just wondering why you chose the duathlons in your 'retirement' rather than triathlons. Wouldn't your climbing assist with the swimming?

I do mostly race Triathlons (including IMOZ 00 and IMNZ 03 - still not the big dance in Hawaii yet - unlike Chockstoner Fatboy). But I did focus on Duathlons through Winter 2004 and 2005. As the World Duathlon Championships were held in Newcastle NSW September 2005, I thought this would be a good way to compete for Australia again.
And I swim like a brick. Chicken legs don't produce a strong kick and my lack of ankle flexibility mean's the feet are anchors... Swimming is my weakness within the sport like jamming was with my climbing...

A year ago (almost to the day) I was spotting a mate who had a play on this (I couldn't even pull on the holds needless to say), a stunning problem and an amazing performance from Moon at 40.

StuckInLara would be your best bet to answer that question Steve.
I nearly bought one of the Small Moon mats for traveling, but it was going to cost just about the price of the mat to ship to Malta where I was headed...

Two of my friends were chatting to Ben at the Plantation at the end of our world trip last month, he was getting damn close!
Regarding his gear- All excellent stuff. One of the guys who met Ben, owns so much of his stuff its ridiculous! lol Havent used their pads outdoors (only coz i can get BD ones cheap) but i have played with them in france and they looked the goods. His holds are rad too...

Not really videos, but I didn't want to start another thread just for this. Apologies if posted already. Some interesting QT VR files on this site: http://www.fullscreenqtvr.com/04extreme01_10.html which have some mountaineering and climbing content. The cliff with the birds circling above is kinda cool.

What can I say - apart from most of that being caused by that other thread (quiz)! I see you're taking after me though.... have you gotten rid of the mo' yet - or is it part of your job description - if so - then can you post a sample here? ha ha!
- good to hear from one of the disciples. Found a decent church yet?
