don't know if it's been posted already but www.udini.de (klem loskot's site) has a few videos, including footage of the famous Action Directe (9a) and also Trench Warfare, a 35ft 5.12d horizontal offwidth roof crack in the US. They describe it as "every climber's worst nightmare". I agree!

Are you still campusing dalai? I thought you were in retirement...

My campus board is still after all these years currently unassembled, leaning against the house and under the shelter of the carport. I should sell it but can't seperate myself from it's seductive grasp (something intrinsicly pleasurable about the gut busting total effort needed during a campusing set!).

As for retirement - I am still officially retired but have started making some stealth visits out and about onto the nearby local boulders again. After the Worlds last month and still not being able to run due to an injury, I plan on taking a little time off from Triathlons.

Ahhh.. the boulders are calling you again Dalai.
Good to hear you're honouring Wolfgang by using THE training tool for power.

I still can't believe Dalai's climbing retirment plan consisted of World Champion Triathlons....

It was actually the World Duathlon Championships... I might have to get my road cycling race licence again as the knee fortunately doesn't hurt cycling!

Soon I may need to find a substitute sport which doesn't involve knees or elbows. Any suggestions?

You might want to give Muay Thai a miss.

Given perfect conditions on the Gritstone in England on the Weekend, Ben Moon flying the flag for the old guard sent the FA of Voyager (8B - V13) at Burbage North. It's an overhanging arete beneath the John Allen route "The Sphinx. Very impressive line indeed - with Gritstone still offering stellar FA's!

Dalai - trust you've been watching the bouldering action in Hueco recently. Bring back any memories?

Definitely Crossdresser. Lots of very fond memories!

The quality of some of the latest moon videos is poor, though of some impressive ascents. Included is an early repeat of Terre de Sienne by Dave Graham, the standing start to Nicoles latest hard problem Terremer V16 and estimated as V14 in it's own right!

For those interested in buildering, DrTopo is running a collection of buildering videos which are being added to weekly.

Kung Fu sound effects are all over bouldering videos nowadays, creating a whole new sub-genre? Pretty cool stuff.
