Oh no, don't get us started again ... quick, distraction ...

This guy has an opinion on the future of climbing too

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUWBbepsdmY

and this footage really has me crapping myself, although that last bit up the final snow slope is truly gorgeous stuff

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-dPjDYVKUY

and whilst not climbing, this guy both scares and amazes me too

The climbing was pretty boring, but this is a good vid mainly because it is well put together and Alex has an interesting perspective on things.

My favourite quote (apart from the one above)...
"Sometimes it's nice to just go to the crag with a nice girl and just chill".

TBH I didn't actually watch a lot of the video, I just had the audio playing while I was doing other things...

Well the interview and music are the best things, so need to watch the video, unless you want to gaze into Alex's bovine like eyes.

crap video - his voice is annoying and the climbing looks really ho-hum. What would have made the video good is him trad climbing the obvious line in the middle of the face. Sorry clarky - you usually post better quality.

They are pretty nice eyes ...

I like the bit where he says he just like to turn up at a sport crag and do tons and tons of routes, preferably with the draws already hanging and set to go ... that's my sort of sport climbing, nice to see I'm in good company ...

and note, Damo, he's been road tripping for years and years, and he hasn't lost psych ...

and I also noticed he has a somewhat different approach to sponsorship than CWP

Not sure this will keep cruze happy but it kept me entertained for half an hour.

No mate, happy as Larry! Apart from having the message "Colombia is a really safe place to visit and climb" (if you are young and male with dark hair, stay in luxury accomodation, and have a band of locals to guide you everywhere and supply machetes and armed security guards while you boulder) rammed down your throat I went and got the popcorn half way through and really enjoyed it. And unlike the Honnold one I didn't walk away thinking that I am a lesser person unless I go and buy a shiny set of BD draws and some North Face clothing.

Glad to hear it.

There were quite a few things that didn't seem congruous with their message of "It's safe". I found it particularly odd they used the credits as the time to show you them bribing the police... Meant the last thing I was left with wasn't the message they were pushing in the rest of the video.
