Ok Andrew, onto less made up quotes. Here is some inspiration from Bridh's blog:
“Try and fail, but don’t fail to try.” — Stephen Kaggwa
Oh, the irony.

Sounds like rodw has been reading a vipassana meditation guide. Does he control the water molecules under his skin too?

I'd guess that the majority of people commenting in this thread aren't current VCC members.

On another hijack note.
Agnosticism; ... that'd be a non-prophet organisation wouldn't it?

It is labelled "non VCC thread" so I felt it was OK to post a comment. For the record I am NOT a VCC
member but I have previously posted (here) comments supporting the work done by their Access
Officers.

Hey Stugang, when was the last time you had VCC members knock on your door trying to proselytise
you and convert you to their 'faith' ?

They do have a monthly magazine.

No you don't. A client just sent me a huge email with a bitmap image of a text console.
And yes I do work (recently at least). I just read and type quick on here...

If by 'proselytise' you mean 'get you to switch beer for margharitas' and by 'convert you to their faith' you mean 'try to make you go bouldering'.... ALL THE TIME.
What happened to you VCC, you used to be uncool?

Well, really, if I started a thread saying "no sport climbers" or "no boulderers" or "no feral natimukian hippies", I'd (quite reasonably) get jumped all over. You can't put filters on your threads like that. You aren't the Australian govt after all. Besides, moths to the flame, red flag to a bull and all that.

That sounds alright. Do they have a NSW chapter?

I'm Mormon and I'm pretty sure bouldering, and joining the VCC is frowned upon in the Church! I wish
Chuck Norris was a Mormon! Imagine him knocking on your door asking to share a message...

I suppose Margharitas are out of the question too.

I gave up the Margharitas for 'powerthirst', with real lightening in every can!
I wish the undies were magic, alas no luck on that front!
