Sydney Climbing this weekend (Nowra Blueys etc)

Any Sydney siders heading to Nowra / or bluey's etc for the weekend 25/26 July ? I'm up in Sydney for work this week and was thinking of heading to Nowra etc on Fri night or sat morning, need to be back in Sydney Sunday night for a late flight.

I haven't left melbourne yet, would prefer to not take a rope on top of my climbing gear but happy to bring whatever is needed rope draws etc....

Obviously i'd pay my share in Fuel along with my shout for dinner Saturday night.. : )

I'm staying near Wynyard Station in the CBD but can train / cab it to wherever...

Climbing around 23-25 but happy to climb anything anywhere really, just be good to have a climb!

I'll be in St Peters Gym Tues and Thursday night at this stage and checking here during the week.

shame you're not hanging around for nowra the weekend after, one or two others from melbs are heading up here to go climbing at nowra then.

Bummer indeed, your not heading anywhere this weekend ?

Also i thought i might add i'm not phased about where I climb (bluey's) or bouldering somewhere.... really just looking for some climbing mates to hang out with and go climbing over the weekend.... : )

Hi Chris,

I just posted a similar post as I'll potentially also be in the area during the same weekend. Like you, I also won't have a rope, but open to do whatever. If nothing else, we can find a place to go bouldering. Let me know if you're interested.

I'll certainly be going down at least one day, I'll try and make it saturday so if either of you fail to find lifts, you'll certainly be able to get one back. I have a few nasty ropes (too thick to feed fast, strong and ugly) I can lend you too.

I may be at SICG on tuesday bouldering (rumours of beached whales upstairs are vastly over rated)

Cool well i should run into your bouldering on Tuesday...

I can bring a rope and quick draws with me if need be, I'm already carrying a 17" laptop, hardware firewall, cables, manuals and 6 days worth of business clothes, climbing clothes, harness chalk bag and shoes ; )

I have a crappy rope and set of draws I can lend, ditto on a tent
