Bad for the plastic... The holds are greasier than normal, esp in the last half of all the routes. Ah well, at least it makes for some tenuous climbs.

Time to head back to the Ravine. :)

Nah the kids still do that. Just think about where those hands have been. They cough, wipe their snot and drool all over those holds. Some of them are in serious need of cleaning.

The kids? The holds? Or both? :)

On a side note, I didn't realise that any of those holds were drool-worthy! :P

I'm pretty new to climbing too but have been going once a week with my partner when our schedules allow it, so I'm looking for others to climb with to make this AT LEAST once a week even when he's interstate and probably more.
I've also never done any ourdoor climbing but am keen as mustard to get out there, now just need some people and rope =)
I'm usualy in the CBD Hardrock on Tuesday's or Wednesday's if anyone wants to say hi.

How desperate are you getting devlin? Are you trying to hit on every girl on here or what?

I climb in Sydney and the Blueys and we want more girls to come to the gym because it really is a bit of a sausage-fest most of the time but by the sounds of it its a real love-in down there in Melb! Maybe I should move!

Heads up: There are 3-4 groups booked in between 5p-8p this eve (Thurs 23/10). The latest of those bookings is for a group of 20 children, so it may be a bit chaotic in there tonight.

Well, more chaotic than normal anyway... :)

EDIT: The total headcount for all those groups is about 50 people.
