Hi, I have a friend Patrick who is competent and super-keen, who is keen to escape a 2 day family affair for a day. Booromba would be great but red rocks or anywhere.
He is solid to about 21 and good on slabs, not so good on trad (because he mainly climbs in the UK where it rains).
PM me or text Patrick on 0434483103

Hey Mikl, it turns out I already had an account here. But thanks for posting!
So yes, I'm looking for a partner in Canberra. And Mikl may have inflated grades a bit... I'm not that solid on 21... but I'll happily try and fail! eventually I always get there. :) But I hear you have slabs in Canberra, I'm fairly good at those! And I happily enjoy bumming around easier grades as well.
Text me if you are keen (0434483103).
Patrick

Gday Patrick, I was wondering what to do on Sunday. Would be happy to do a couple of routes at Baroomba. My contact is 0401 780 339. Cheers, Cameron

Yes, but treat them with a grain of salt, or two(!); as they may be more run-out than what you may be used to, especially if you hit them after the sun has been on them a while...

If Patrick mainly climbs in the UK, I doubt they will be more run out than the slabs he is used to.
Getting used to granite slabs might be an issue but I doubt it.

True! I've seen bad run outs back home, but somehow I never feel "used to them"... Intrigued by the granite slabs!
And thanks Cameron, I look forward to meeting you.
