Hello!
I'm a Brit and I'm coming over to Australia on a working holiday visa on 8th Nov 14. I'm hoping to climb as much as possible while I'm there so I'm looking for climbing partners! I'll be in Sydney from 8th Nov for a couple of weeks and then after that I've got no specific plans, so if you can meet me either in Sydney or elsewhere on my trip then please let me know.
I prefer trad climbing but I like to sport climb as well. I've led a UK HS which I think is equivalent to about grade 12 (?) but I'm happy to second anything. The hardest sport route that I've led is about grade 18 I think, although again I'm happy to follow up anything.
Please get in touch if you're interested!

Hi Jenni,
I'm a fellow Brit also on a temporary work visa and will be in Sydney from 21-29 November. I'm free from 24-28 November and was hoping to head to the Blue Mountains for a few days with a local climber who has transport and gear. I lead to EI or sport 6c. Let me know if you're stuck for a partner, and I could bring rope, harness and gear, or a few sessions at the Climbing gym in Sydney. Email is hallpaul@live.com
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Col,
Don't know if you're around but I'm coming over to Sydney from the Uk and am looking to climb in the Blue Mountains from 24-28 November. I'm 50, and leading around 20/21 and can bring harness and shoes, and could hire a car if needed. Let me know if you can assist.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Jenni and Paul. I am coming across from New Zealand for about a week, fly into Sydney 21st Nov and fly out 30th Nov. Looking to spend my time climbing in the blueys. Going to catch the train out on 22nd, I'v been told theres no need to rent a car. Great thing is that the train runs straight through the mountains and most of the crags are easily accessed from Blackheath and Katoomba. I'm a sport climber, just started trad recently (I have a set of cams but undecided yet whether to bring them yet). I'll be bringing the rest of my gear (rope, draws etc.)
Send me an email if you're keen to meet up.

Hey all,
Awesome to see a few climbers looking for partners to climb the blueys in November. I used to live in Sydney and climb the blueys a fair bit. I'll be arriving back there 20th November and will definitely be keen to go to the blueys any weekdays. I sport lead at around grade 19/20 outdoors and love multipitch so that would be the preference. Just learning trad so perhaps grade 16 max right now. Will have all my gear as well.
My email is ingrabowski@gmail.com and should have a car to use too so looking forward to getting out on some big beautiful blueys sand with a few of you soon. Will email you shortly.
Cheers, Ian

Hi YosTom,
I'm so sorry it's taken so long to respond, I didn't think I'd had any replies! I'm still in Sydney now and on Sat I'm hoping to head up to the Blue Mountains for a couple of days and stay there. If you're still free then please let me know! My email is Jenni.lees@hotmail.co.uk, I haven't got a mobile number yet.
Thanks.
