Done.

Different subject, as an aside...

I notice that qurank for sale section currently has a post by pumpensmear selling Metolius Easy Aiders and Easy Daisies at a good price...
http://queenslandclimbing.yuku.com/topic/7179/Metolius-easy-aiders-and-easy-daisies

For aspiring aid climbers still acquiring gear it could be worth researching / considering?
I don't know pumpensmear, and also have not personally used the Metolius Easy (whatevers), but have heard some good things about them.
(I was tempted to get them myself to further experiment with, but already have too many etts and not enough time to use them all... )

I reckon those aiders would be good for seconding a pitch, I don't know how they would go leading. Seems like a bit of faffing around would be required to learn to use them. I've read those metolious buckles are pretty weak too

I have used BD aiders and Alpine aiders before and switched to Yates ladders a few years ago, they are more expensive but simple and fast to use plus pretty burly, the spreader bar helps a lot keeping the steps open, I was instantly much quicker on aid when I switched to these. Highly recommended as a first etrier

I recently tried out the Yates Daisy's and I'm not 100% convinced on them yet, they are good for adjusting your daisy length when jumaring though.

I'll have my rack and ladders down at the weekend for people to borrow,

I used to have a set of the Metolius easy daisys but didn't really like them. It may have been user error but I never liked the way they released. I sold them to ODH, maybe he likes them;)

Some aid gear for those who want it, at very reasonable prices, to be found on this Chocky thread;

Good single pitch climb....I thought Premier was alright. I did it last aid gathering...it's just down Burston's Crevasse a wee bit. M5, I hammered a bit. I also ripped a huge chunk off it and fell onto Ti a while back on it, the rock is a little suspect.

Last pitch of Strange Ritual if you wanna do a bunch of hooking, about M4-5, more balls than skill.

That thing that Rod put up on top of the plateau wouldn't hold any of my gear, so it's probably fun too.

Someone should go a do She, it's a great climb, just a little dirty....

Hey phillipivan, re M5/M6 ... there is also potential for a couple of new routes of that grade below Cacaphonic Block/Disabled Lookout area...
Abseil in access and a climb out though.

Hey FB; I thought Phillip was on the route adjacent to you when you did Premier, and may have been spooked off doing it in future, when you pulled a flake?

Fish Boy, was it pins or heads that you hammered on premier? I remember you climbing it. I might have the balls to give it a shot.

Cheers,

PhillipIvan

If my memory of asking the same question back then is correct, I think the reply was a small pin and a couple of peckers/birdbeaks, or such like.

(p-i, your PM box is full...)

More vivid in my memory is the flake I tried to kill robersonja with whilst on Stone Believer. Shame he was belaying me at the time.

P-I; ... maybe the flake I am remembering is the one you pulled then. I didn't see it till afterwards, but it sounded impressive!

To help logistics of gear required, I will need to know closer to the time of event, confirmation of attendee numbers, and whether or not you have their own gear, plus what aid experience level you feel you are at (if I don't already know!).

(~> ... Reminder to self; check if campsite/s booking for that period is required.)
