Hi. Any Newcastle-area climbers wanting to climb two evenings a week, and possibly some WEs?

Hey Cliff D,

Climbing at Pulse Tuesday and Thursdays.

Cu there?

Red climbing shirt, dark hair, light skin. I'll probably be in the bouldering area. Usually get there about 7:30ish.

Just come introduce yourself.

Hey, just being neighbourly. Why the hostility Cliff D? (If that is even your real name)

Cliff, you can look at Climbaholic's profile to see his real name and assorted details.

Feel free to tell me to rack off but I reckon you're doing yourself a disservice by swinging hammers in every thread. I believe you're relatively new to Chocky and while you're just as entitled to your point of view as others are theirs, (like any social situation), you might want to try easing into the Chocky swing of things instead of bashing your way in...

But that's just me:)

I don't know if you know me because I have no idea who you are. But nobody calls me Andy and not even my Mum calls me Andrew.

What makes you think you know me through the UNMC?

Tell us who you are and maybe I'd be able to confirm.

It would be much easier than not-so-subtley trying to profile me so you can track me down and murder me in my sleep!

(last time I try to meet a guy on the internet!)

Dear Chockstone Community,

If this is my last post please report my disappearance to the police.

Cheers,
Ando, Andrew, Andy

All these confusions and misunderstandings while you try to figure each other out! If you redo the words a bit, this little romance could make it into the Jane Austen thread :)

Aren't you being a wee bit histrionic now dear? Your sensibilities run away with you!

Don't worry Cliff, it's not that you're not good enough for him, he's just playing hard to get ;)

You know me Penny, always one for a bit of melodrama. You have to excuse me, it's been a stressful day at work and Cliff has been helping me with the odd brief escape.

I was just using hyperbole to express that it’s a bit creepy for someone to try to identify me without even disclosing their name.

For example, I know who you are and that we’ve met because your name is in your profile. So I feel comfortable confirming personal details. But to an anonymous user…

You do know me too well Penny.

That comment strikes a bit of a personal note.

My feelings are hurt :-(

I called my Brother, who is a cop, and told him to be on the lookout for a neighbourly, light skinned, dark haired, red climbing shirt wearing boulderer from the UNMC (possibly) who may answer to Andy, Ando, Andrew or Climbaholic & who may or may not use the internet to meet men....

He promised me you'll be his first priority if you're missing, though asked if you could ring to let him know if/when you do go missing.

Oh but that wasn't my intention at all! I only meant to grease the wheels of a fledgling romance, but my meddling will be my undoing :(
I do declare Cliff, that Andrew is a lovely young man, and would be most worth your while to seek out tonight at the bouldering cave. And Andrew I haven't met (Heath)Cliff, but wikipedia assures me that he is 'often regarded as an archetype of the tortured romantic hero whose all-consuming passions destroy both himself and those around him.' He sounds just devine, and I wish you the very best of luck with him :)
