So, ... at the risk of you thinking I am stalking you off the other thread, since I keep answering your posts...; I will take a punt and suggest he found it unpleasant because he was burdened with a large/heavy haulbag of climbing accoutrement for a multiday ascent.
This is often a serious amount of gear, and once sufficient water is added for the adventure, can easily equal your own bodyweight.
Having done the same myself I easily understand why haulbags are referred to as 'pigs' in yank-parlance (or wombats as the aussie version), as they are unwieldy items that seem to have a mind of their own at times!

Abseiling a clean airy wall like Defender with one of those hanging off you is hard enough, but once you enter the irregular and sometimes slot-like confines of some of the abseils of Comet Ramp with one, they tend to become more lively and give you grief!
