Man, it was pretty minor sledging......you should see the shit Gerry is copping over on the "talk about yourself in the third person" thread! I thought the Captains of Crotch would have thicker skin.

Your ability to miss the point is nothing short of spectacular.

The rest of you, suck it up and grow a pair. If peppering posts with numbers pisses off ODH then the response is obvious - pepper your posts with numbers. That conclusion is easy to come to - V2 at most.

So you were simply sledging for the sake of sledging hey?! Just makes you look like more of a tool.

Climbing out of bed was at least v7 yesterday. Too much champagne the night before.

Awesome thread. It has got almost everything so far:

a) Great TR
b) Grade debate
c) Quality sledge trying to push buttons
d) Indignant outrage at buttons being pushed
e) Slagging off of ODH
f) People being told to HTFU
g) more grade debate
h) irrelevant off topic posts

Just needs some bolting debate and we will have pretty much everything, and in less than 2 pages. I didn't number the points to ensure Damo doesn't get too out of control!.

They were completely irresponsible not wearing helmets though. Especially with that massive jar of nutella being swung so close to their heads. And on the train. Don't they know how fast those trains go?

Does anyone mind if I add a few retrobolts to this trip report?

Font grades surely don't equate anywhere :).
Have heard plenty of stories of strong boulderers getting shut down on F5's and 6's in the Forrest.

Only for a wizened old French dude to waltz up said 5/6 in ancient boots.

I think we should use the grading system for bouldering that Simey pioneered for the 1st araps select guide. It was at least a 5. Or were they in roman numerals? V.

Have you been watching Bruno? Do you want to bring kinky sex into the thread now?

You can have all the empty bottles you like, although I would have thought after all the côcktail therapy you were doing, you'd have a good supply.

I imagine he was sledging because he thought he might get a bite.

The Southern Blog Writing Sport Climber is a notoriously easy fish to bag.

"Captains of Crotch" - I love it.

It is the internet after all. Can't expect too much. Besides, just remember that image of a skinny man with a bucket hat and glasses and suddenly its not so bad after all! Kinda comical really. :P
