Covering 3 months or so, this is a fairly long read, but if you have a goodly amount of time to kill or an interest in whether it's worth the massive drive to Townsville to climb, here tis:

It was a fantastic read Wendy.
You and Douglas set a high pace and standard that is inspirational, and your enthusiasm clearly permeates your writing up of your adventures.
Thanks for sharing the link.

Nice read. Makes me want to become a climbing grey nomad. A meagre 3 days at frog this year was barely enough.

Hi Vanessa, Did we bump into you just as you arrived at Frog on the long weekend? We ran away to avoid the crowds, and judging by the car park when we got back on Monday, it was a good choice! By the time we had set up and had dinner though, we were the only people there. I admit, I love not being restricted to long weekends or school holidays. I like my crags quiet. Hope your 3 days were good though.

Yes, that was us, also with the flu. It actually wasn't that crowded. Heaps of space in the camping area the June long weekend. Didn't have to wait for anything except Conquistador. You guys will have to travel via Newcastle one time and come climbing at Port Stephens.
