Does anyone have any information on this rather obvious crack line up the centre right-hand side of the
chimney at Dog Rocks? First assent details? The grade?

I believe you might be talking about 'the kennel' gr7/10.
FA is listed in the NW guide as Roy Henderson, Terry Paige 91.

If it was The Kennel, it was a pretty goey grade 7, I thought.... I started to solo it but had second
thoughts and roped up instead.
Plus, the Guide description speaks of a "slab" and a "flake" for The Kennel...... The Chimney Crack is
just a hand-to-off-width splitter that runs the whole way up the right wall, inside the narrow chimney.

If the 'Chimney Crack' marked in the 2002 Northwest Guide is actually The Kennel, then I'm sorry for
wasting everyone's time.
