Adam and I finally got around to ticking the first ascent of a new two pitch mixed route up near the Fortress on the weekend. It's the big orange face you see waaaay in the distance when walking down from the Gallery (just below The Fortress). The main face itself is 60m of blankness, but just around the left side is a more featured 'Taipanesque' featured wall. First pitch is crimpy 25, second pitch is sustained steep 24 with a fantastic grade 22 corner to finish. This route might be amusing for anyone who is also climbing up at The Fortress. It's a long one hour uphill approach... :-)
