Is it illegal to climb pulpit rock?

I've been looking all over the place and I've found one reference to a route up pulpit rock at blackheath in the bluies. The route is apparently 50ft high from the saddle and mostly easy but chossy climbing. I understand why nobody wants to climb the choss, but the gap looks prime for a highline. Does anyone have any beta on getting to the summit of pulpit rock? Anyone done it or even know if its banned?

Pretty major lookout in full view..me thinks Nat Parks might not like it..I think you would be better off doing it a lower profile areas away from public view.

Step 1. Take a screenshot of Google Earth view of pulpit rock
Step 2. Print it out at Office Works enlarged to about 50 by 50 feet
Step 3. Put up a highline in your local park
Step 4. Lay the print-out underneath the highline
Step 5. Enjoy sublime picturesque highline action
Step 6. Post your GoPro footage on Chockstone

No need to go to that effort, just go and rig the 'The Fear' 70m long x 200m high near pulpit rock lookout

There is a horizontal break for cam anchor on the left looking out on the tier higher than very end of lookout (where a bench is). I lowered and hauled (rpt x 6) someone filming treetops with a big camera for a japanese show about heritage listed wilderness. Had enough time looking down to recall it not looking appealing. Most cracks on that side seem to be heavily vegetated also.

So I guess if its out of view besides very distantly from govets leap, it should be even more out of view than "the fear" which I watched you get the FA on James BTW.
If nobody can see i don't see why its a problem

Kanagra, this area does see a lot of tourist traffic. I agree if no one sees it never really happened. If you need a load carrying donkey pm me. I love the idea but have reservations of the when.
