GPS waypoints around Chamonix

I spent July climbing around Chamonix, when it wasn't raining. During the extensive bad weather I entered the GPS co-ords for every hut and bivouac I could get details on into the receiver I had been given (and still had time to read a Thomas Pynchon novel). If anyone would like a copy of the gpx file with the waypoints to save them the boring task of entering them manually PM me with your email address.

There are over forty such waypoints in the file.

Insert dense and obtuse disclaimer riddled with legalese about not being responsible for errors, etc etc.

Maybe post them up here as a resource for others?

I'm too dumb to know how to attach a non image file to a chokky post, and have no interest in setting up some other sort of file hosting just for one gpx file. Anyway, I figure it's of sufficiently marginal interest that dealing with a few pm's and emails (zero so far) will be no big deal.

Fair enough.
I assumed incorrectly that it might have been a simple copy&paste...

Ive never looked inside the gpx file, it might be plain text. Part of the project was just to teach myself that basics of the garmin unit, as I had just been given it and was more or less unfamiliar with it.

GPX is XML, which would be painful to post to chockstone. You could do a search and replace in the file:

& to &
< to <
> to >

Then copy paste it here maybe.

Let's not get carried away, there hasn't exactly been a huge interest in this... The orignal offer stands.
